Many, if not most times, athletes set goals that are at a too ‘high’ a level. These goals are difficult to focus on and many times lead to unnecessary anxiety as the athlete feels that it is no longer within their control. By employing a multiple goal strategy, an athlete can set goals that are within their control and that allows for clear focus and attention.
